Lovisa's red album
The album content is exactly the same as when it was given to me by my grandfather Anders Gustaf Manell. In addition to the mounted photos there were also two extra ones tucked inside of the back cover. They will also show at the end of the "slide show" above.
The outside of the album covers are soft stuffed red velvet clothing with goldish metal decorations on the front. A similarly styled decoration in the center is missing. The size of the album is 20,5 cm wide, 26,5 cm high and 6 cm thick.
The album contains 18 pages with photos. Each photo is numbered by the page number and the position on the page from 1 to 4.
All photos are mounted on stiff cardboard backs, 0,2 cm thick. The larger photos are typically 11 cm wide and 16,7 cm high. The smaller ones are typically 6,3 cm wide and 10,5 cm high.
The following information is mainly based on the scarce notes made at an interview with my grandfather on 23 Oct 1970 in my grandparents home in Borgsheden, Mockfjärd. Further information have been added on later occations.
Anders Gustaf Persson and his family changed their last name to Manell officially on 31 Mar 1919.
